• 1990-1997 Student at the University of Padova
• 1995 Stage at Meudon Observatory, DEpartement de recherche SPAtiale on Simulations of Non-Collisional Plasma with an Ibrid code and Study of Wave-Particle Resonance, having Prof. A. Mangeney as supervisor
• 1997 Degree cum laude in Astronomy at the University of Padova, with a thesis titled: The Evolution of Interstellar Dust in Dense Media having Prof. Guido Barbaro, from Astronomy Department of the University of Padova, as supervisor.
• 1998 Contract of scientific collaboration with SISSA on:
  1. Calculation of Optical Properties of Composit Dust Grains
  2. The code for spectro-photometric evolution of galaxies GRASIL: the inclusion of nebular emission
